On November 24th, 2009 took place the second Case Study Method workshop organized at the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) in the frame of the Balkan Case Challenge project. The event was organized in partnership WUS Austria-Student Alliance from Moldova-ASEM Student Senate.
The seminar focused its attention, mainly on such issues as case studies, techniques of teaching, and ways of approaching higher education and employment through internships, as well as student-professor-university-employer interaction. Local expert, Daniela Munca, ASEM professor, Director of Studies at American Language Centre presented a creative solution for integrating case study in teaching courses pointing attention on the ‘Webtools for integrating Study cases in teaching Business English”. The international expert, Mr Andreas Freichter, Vienna University of Economics and Business, Department for Strategic Management and Innovation came with a presentation of the Austrian and European practices in linking Higher Education and employment through the internship practices.
The audience was formed by professors, mainly from the department of Teaching Business English, Marketing, and Accounting. Therefore, aiming on the follow-up of the workshop at the event were invited representatives of local Student Senate.
