The case study method - developed as a learning tool at Harvard University in order to promote its use as a modern, practice-oriented method of learning - has always played a crucial role at the Balkan Case Challenge. Additionally, career and job related trainings have become an important component at the Balkan Case Challenge for the last years in order to fill the gap between Higher Education and employment. Accompanying measures will be introduced at selected South-Eastern European universities.
Therefore, the introduction of the case study method will bring interesting, real-world situations into the classroom and allow the application of theoretical knowledge and bridge the gap between theory and practice. BCC thus aims at introducing the case study method and career and job related trainings at selected universities in South-Eastern Europe and also at supporting their sustainability beyond the competition itself.
